Founded in 1981, Electronic/Fasteners, Inc. (EFI) is Certified:
ISO 9001:2000 and has a consistently outstanding record of performance and leadership in supplying hardware and electronic components to the military/aerospace and commercial markets. Currently, EFI has two locations, Sanford, Florida and Huntsville, Alabama.

Electronic/Fasteners, Inc. is a veteran-owned small business and is an active member in the following organizations:

  • Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) - EFI has added its experience and voice on key issues concerning the availability of products which are essential in securing an open-supply chain to meet the defense industry’s demands.
  • Aerospace Fastener Standards Advisory Committee (AFSAC) – EFI serves alongside many defense and aerospace manufacturers, companies like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grummans, Airbus, Honeywell, SPS Technologies, Alcoa, to name a few, in the governance and custodial responsibilities of the National Aerospace Standards for hardware.
  • Southeastern Fasteners Association and Southwestern Fasteners Association – EFI has developed and maintains an excellent relationship with both suppliers and manufacturers while keeping a keen eye on industry trends which will benefit our customers.
  • National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) – EFI helps these manufacturers who may have difficulties in their supply chain and has offered solutions which may prove beneficial to them.

EFI has received numerous awards from companies such as General Dynamics, Group Technologies, Laurel Technologies, Harris Corporation, DRS Technologies (Supplier of the Year for 2006/2007), as well as the Small Business Administration Award for Outstanding Excellence.

EFI has partnered with a supply integrator, Leading Edge Aerospace Dynamics, Inc. It is a Minority-Owned, Small Disadvantaged, HUBZone certified business which has over 7 years in Integrated Supply Contract and Development and Management.


Management Experience of Electronic/Fasteners, Inc.

Wayne Mason, President – He has been in the hardware industry since 1976, a graduate from Rollins College with a B.A. in Business, served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 with active duty in the Vietnam War.

Jim Irwin, V.P./G.M. – With 22 years as V.P. /G.M. for Electronic/Fasteners, Inc. and with 9 prior years in the electronic and hardware industry, he runs the day-to-day operation of the Sanford facility and has kept EFI in the forefront with product development. He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969 with active duty in the Vietnam War.

Fred Gravel, V.P. Marketing – He has 20 years as V.P. Marketing for Electronic/Fasteners Inc. and 15 prior years in manufacturing management with Harris Corporation, is a graduate from the University of Central Florida with a B.S.B.A., and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Tony Arch, Account Specialist – He has 31 years experience in the electronic hardware industry, with the last 10 years as an Account Specialist for Electronic/Fasteners, Inc. He served in the United States Navy from 1968-1970 as a Seabee with active duty in Vietnam War.

Larry Eggleston, Q.A. Manager – He has 17 years as Director of the Quality Department at Electronic/Fasteners, Inc. and was instrumental in getting EFI certified to ISO 9001:2000. He is a graduate from the Merchant Marine Academy and served 24 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Commander.

John Mula, Accounting Director – He has 23 years in accounting and finance and is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.S.B.A. in accounting. John’s knowledge comes from working with Fortune 500 firms to small businesses in a variety of different industries.
